Four wheeler breaks through ice

Hello people! For this blog news I got a picture of one of our Kongiganak residents sunken through the lake. This happened recently on November 22nd. Here is Harold Azean and his son Bruce barely made it across but not enough. This is when he just came back from Bethel and thought that it must of froze throughly again. He had to step out in the cold frigid water and when he did he tripped and almost every part of his body got wet. Was able to retrieve the four-wheeler and brought Harold safely home with his son. Thank you for reading and I hope you liked it.

No snow? Wheres the birds?

Well, a little deja vu happening. No snow like last year, and I sometimes wish only if the birds came back. It seemed like we had a good start on snow, then it all sort of went away again. Hope the snow comes back though so we can go riding or trapping.(:

Sunken boat

Sunken boat.

Hello again! This photo was taken back in August. Heres what happened. This day I was going on a boat ride with my two cousins Edwin and Garrett. He were heading out and half way out we see this. We went up land and we see the owner of the boat coming down. I tell him his boat had sunk. He didn't believe me for a bit until we showed him. Then luckily we pulled it out and dragged it home. Thats all I have to say. Hope you like it.

Fall hunting succes

Four beautiful mallards.

Hi again! Here you see four beautiful green head mallards I caught last month at the end of September. Two weeks ago I went up river and walked a mile out on tundra. Was a grueling walk but I still made it. I went and met my long time hunting partners Austen and Charles. Austen got one as well but Charles was unsuccessful that day. Although I went late I still got these four beautiful mallards. Thanks for reading and I hope you like it and leave a comment.

Hello there! Its been a while since I posted some pictures. Heres one when I went out up by Illkivik river along the coast. It was on October the eleventh when it snowed. Was a good day and caught 24 ducks total. My partners were Austen Beaver and Charles Kanuk and there were a bunch a more ducks we couldn't get. I hope you like it and leave a comment.

Twilight along coast

Well hello! This photo was taken back in May. Not a best picture but it will do. Anyways this is one of my best hunting trips along the coast not far from my village. On that day I went with my dad and my neighbor/best friend and had a blast! In this photo there is a total of 38 birds, geese and one swan. The day we went was a good sunny day but winds up to 20-25 mph. Not every year we get a bunch like this but this year we got a whole bunch and had to cut down on my hunting trips for a week. I hope you like it and please leave a comment.

About Me

Hey there. My name is Kieron Miller and I am 16 years of age. I am from Kongiganak, Alaska. I like basketball but most I love to go hunting. Most of the time I hunt birds like geese and ducks. There is never a dull moment when ever I go hunting. In other news I enjoy school and I'm in 10th grade which is great.

My blog is going to cover most of my hunting trips so don't trip.
